Twin spindle CNC turning center added!

By the end of 2006, (and yes we are talking about over the next few days) . . . 2 additional 8" chucking spindles will be added to the turning division in the form of a Daewoo Puma twin spindle CNC turning center. A machine configured in this manner allows one machine operator to complete both first operations and second ops to production workpieces concurrently. It is this type of machinery that will allow us to maintain our competitiveness in the field of CNC operator fed turned components.

We have the ability to sell Sbaron Machinery Dollies and related products. We have been the sole manufacture/machine shop for Sbaron since its conception in 1998. We actually have been an active contributor of all dolly, die carts, walk behind cranes designs and producing first off products. Now not only do we build, but now we will be trying to distribute the product as well.
Sbaron has the best heavy machinery skate on the market. It takes the load and moves it without scarring or marking the floor. They are sold with POLY wheels but are also available with steel wheels that carry even more load. The normal production range is 5-100 tons per skate, but will custom make a dolly to fit a customers needs. The lastest Die Cart was a self-propelled unit with a remote control. It has a 150 ton capacity that telescoped in length as well as outrigger cylinders that could lift a full load plus itself. The 15000# Walk-Behind-Crane has started to take off bat are looking for new leads as well. To date we have sold 8 cranes with 3 units in production now. Hydraulic Cylinder Development

Over the past 4 years we have been bettering our way of producing large hydraulic cylinders. By bettering we mean ways of producing the best possible cylinder as well as producing the cylinders faster thus meaning more affordable to the purchaser. By doing this we have effectively over produced cylinders to our customers and are now looking for new customers to make cylinders for. Most of the cylinders that we build are for customers that require us to design and manufacture. But we also would manufacture cylinders that are already designed and that we can make to print. Most of the cylinders that we make are for the heavy lifting industry, but are interested in other industries as well.
We designed, with the help of Golden Crown Machinery Sales a new large bore conversational control CNC lathe with 30" chucks (one inbound, and one outbound). This machine has been in service now for 3 years and has not had a hiccup yet. We have had no thread failures since the lathe has been in service. With the two chucks now dialing in parts is a breeze along with the added advatage of not needing to use stead rests or tailstocks as well as now we can dial the tubes perfect from end to end.

We have been trying to handle the production of all milled parts on our Horizontal Machining Centers but, have have decided to add a Vertical Machining Center to our collection to try to handle the smaller quantity production parts. We have just confirmed our purchase of a SHARNOA VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER.
It has a BT50 spindle with a table size of 60" (1500mm) X 40" (1000mm), with a 32 position automatic tool changer. Machine is used but it is in new condition. With accuracy at 0.0003" at 40" of travel checked on a CMM.
I trust that this machine will help us keep the production running on our Horizontals will keeping up with our smaller production runs.
Even within the day we have already added a new job on the Vertical that will need 33.0 hours per month.
Things are looking very busy for the year.

We are currently experiencing great demand of cylce time on our horizontal machining centers. All work is of high precision with low to moderate quantities. We are looking to hire general machinist with at least 3 years experience. People with experience on horizontal machining centers would have an edge.

We have just placed orders on our large cylinder lathe that put us at full capacity until late June / early July. We are still quoting on other orders that could take us into 2007.

We are slightly soft in the small turning area, but daily finding more work to fill the soft spots.

Large custom is as always fairly steady. We are also looking to hire an apprentice for the large horizontal boring mill area to train fully as a horizontal boring mill operator. Position would be day shift to start. People with good math skills and good knowlegde of blueprint reading would have an edge.
